Dig Deepr!

I've been thinking - to stop shoving down material down my head and rather let more thoughts emerge from within. By that I mean - I've been feeding my brain too much of crap ;P and need to cut down on it! I'm getting a feeling there is a lot that is buried down there deep within that is just waiting to come out. I must make way for it!

The crap involves - news, random surfing, facebook, gmail etc. that I tend to spend time on quite often. which is kinda overloading and overshadowing my thoughts :(
Rather I must let myself think, let thoughts emerge from within, which I kind of feel are just waiting to come out once this crap inflow is reduced ::  Digging deep within.. I might just find a treasure there, seriously :)

Creativity!

I have been thinking for a long while, about this one thing - Creativity!

What all it can do, or better yet, what can a person who is creative can do.

It is the base of everything we as a human race have achieved, everything.

And you don't need to be somebody to do something. If you are creative enough and persevere in your efforts, you can go from a total nobody to become a somebody who everybody admires :)

Just take e.g. of J.K.Rowling, a single mother who dreamt of Harry Potter. Some years back there was NO harry potter and nobody knew Rowling. But Rowling dreamt of him and all his stories and today we have a whole franchise of Harry potter which is a billion dollar business and Rowling is rolling in its fame and fortune.

Lately happened to see another gem of a movie - Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Was wondering how did it all come around ? Somebody must have thought about it. About 'everything' that was there in the movie. Somebody was creative enough to bring it all into reality.

Where does all this come from ? It comes from us, when we exercise our creative faculties and believe in what comes out of it

I tend to think that everyone is creative to some degree and yes, the degree of creative varies. I'm sure everyone has had some creative thoughts, but overtime we neglect it, it gathers dust and we become one of the many stereotypes floating around in a haze with a herd mentality and zero originality.

All we need is to think and believe, develop those creative thoughts into reality for every body to see. That is what we are here for. What are you waiting for ? Let's go... each one find their Harry Potter!

A real superstar!!!

Haven't posted to the blog for a really long while, though have had many drafts in almost ready state, mostly on the current affairs going on in the country but will publish them some other day when I have some definite action to take against all those evils.

Today happened to read an interview of Hrithik Rohshan, what a gem of a person, he's my superstar!!! After all it's what is inside you that matters, surface polish is just that after all!

Btw, saw his latest movie, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara .. 6 times, you read it right SIX times!!! Does that qualify me for a Guinness world record ? ;-)

India Under Siege

I am starting a new blog today, titled “India Under Siege” http://indiaundersiege.wordpress.com, where I would be addressing all that is wrong with India, how it is being systematically destroyed ‘from inside’ and ‘outside’ & with UPA voted in power today, how the end has just came scarily too near.

Obama has done it again. In three months atleast three times Obama has thrown expletives at India in one manner or other.

The latest being the worst of all – '…that says you should pay lower taxes if you create a job in Bangalore, India, than if you create one in Buffalo, New York.'

And what does he intend to achieve ? $210 billion additional tax revenue over the next decade !! ie. approx let’s say $17-20 billion / year!

Now I did some search about what is the yearly tax revenue collected by IRS – for 2007 it was supposed to be $2.6 Trillion!

So I intend to ask, what is he gaining ? What is $17-20Billion in a kitty of around $2.6 trillion ? 0.7 % !!!

In Marathi we has a saying -- ‘Dat korun pot bharane’ which roughly means – you cannot fill your stomach by tooth picking and swallowing the food particles stuck in your teeth! What a perfect example of such a case this is.

BTW, Why did Obama not say – Beijing instead of Bangalore, when all the manufacturing jobs from US of A have moved in a blanket manner to China ? Everything from toothpicks to anything and everything one can think of comes from factories in China, including Obama’s underwear. Perhaps that’s the reason he did not mention it – who knows Hu Jintao must have threatened him before hand that he would stop supply of his most favorite underwear's in case Obama says anything against China! So, then the real question is, can president of US/A stay away from his (favorite) pants?
